Senior UX/ Service designer

Your job in a nutshell
From changing the way people buy a new tyre, a heat pump or a portable speaker to how they manage their mobility plan, home energy consumption or life insurances, ... you are eager to guide clients through the service design process: conduct research, facilitate internal/external workshops and journey mapping and deliver high level UX concepts and strategic roadmaps with impact.

What you’ll do

Within our Service Design UX/UI team you help our clients to improve their customers’ daily lives, because you work hard with a design thinking mindset and a design doing approach.

  • Plan and conduct market and product research, benchmarks and user interviews. 

  • Chase and interpret data to find new and applicable insights.

  • Define personae and facilitate journey mapping workshops. 

  • Develop high level concepts, wireframes and clickable prototypes to envision and test functionality, usability, usefulness  and accessibility.

  • Create user stories and communicate concepts and solutions to various stakeholders. 

  • Deliver relevant and feasible strategic roadmaps with company-wide impact. 

  • Participate in pitches for current and new clients and provide account directors with approach input and high-level budget estimates. 

  • Assist junior UX/UI designers with their work and guide them in best practices.

  • Share your knowledge by hosting internal and external workshops, webinars and/or articles.

Your (growing) skillset

  • You have five years or more experience with UX/Service design and/or digital product design.

  • You have foundational knowledge of user research and design thinking methods.

  • You master Figma and you are eager to explore new (AI driven) design tools.

  • You’re curious, emphatic, analytical, good at asking the right questions and analysing data to get relevant insights. 

  • You communicate and present well (written/visual/verbal) in English, Dutch and French.

  • You juggle a variety of projects and work comfortably in a fast-paced entrepreneurial environment.

  • You share your enthusiasm for learning and innovation and serve as an approachable, go-to expert for junior colleagues.

Your office 

You’ll mainly be working from Mechelen, but we have offices in Ghent, Antwerp, Brussels, Den Bosch and Amsterdam for you too!
